Joe turns 30!

Joe turned 30 with much fanfare! About 30 people came over throughout the day to congratulate him on such an accomplishment. It also happened to be PSU's opening day - so he tried to pass that off as the reason for the party (we all know the real reason, someone's turning old). We were really terrible about getting pictures, it was pouring outside for most of the day - but we got some...

This was the cake, my first try at fondant! It was chocolate, and the cupcakes were vanilla - they all said "joe's 30!" on them, haha



This was the spread, after it got eaten. There was SO MUCH FOOD. We ate leftovers for about a week. A little before midnight we made some hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken skewers, and bratwurst... we didn't get any pictures of that!



The backyard was really amazing looking, I really wish we'd gotten better pics.


Tom was nice enough to let us borrow some tents, originally for shade, but then worked out perfect in the rain! Beer pong was set up under this one...


There were darts inside - we finally got it up! And painted the wall behind it that taupe color. We also painted the wall behind the couch that color, I'll try to get pics of that later.
