Tonight is so, so hard. Our sweet little monkey hadn't been himself for a few days, and after a battery of tests it was discovered that he has an aggressive form of brain cancer pressing on his frontal lobe. There's no way to treat it. He's sleeping comfortable at the veterinary neurologist tonight, where they will monitor him closely. Tomorrow morning we bring him home and make the difficult decision of when to let him go. How do you decide when it's time to let go of such a huge piece of your heart?
We hope to give him the weekend, fill it with everything he loves, showing him just how incredible much we love him. From there, God decides.
We love you so, so much little buddy, we will forever carry you in our hearts.
