Guess what we did tonight?
From about 6-11 pm - Rocky vomited about 9 times. Everytime we fed him, 45 minutes later back up it came.
Ugh.
So, off to the emergency vet we went.
Thankfully, she said he looked good, and he probably just has a virus - we should bring him back in the morning if he's still acting weird for radiographs in case he has an obstruction (which she didn't think was likely). She also said we shouldn't have continued feeding him once he puked - do YOU like eating when you're pukey sick? We get it now.
He got an anti-nausea vaccine and they injected some fluids under his skin to rehydrate him just in case.
So! $200 later we have Rocky the Camel!
Hey, it's cheaper than plastic surgery to actually make him a camel! ;)

Updated 11/23/09 9:30 am: Well, he didn't sleep all night, or want to even look at his food this morning (which everyone that knows him - knows that is completely unlike him!) So we took him to his vet first thing this am - and he was diagnosed with the doggie version of strep throat. A shot for the swollen sore throat, and a week's worth of antibiotics later - he's much more himself (just super tired) - and LOVING the fact that he can only eat home-cooked rice with ground beef for a few days ;)
